DiFrancesca & Steele, P.C. was established in 1996, by Attorney Donald J. DiFrancesca and Attorney Beth Steele. Since that time, the firm has prided itself on representing individuals, families and small businesses to achieve their legal goals. Our preferred focus is on residential and commercial real estate, estate planning and administration, creation of business entities, and general litigation, including personal injury services.

Attorney Steele’s philosophy to the practice of law is to draw upon her 30 years of experience to offer practical guidance on how to solve your legal problems in the most expedient manner possible.  However, some problems don’t lend themselves to quick or easy solutions. In that case, Attorney Steele is always prepared to litigate a matter, having tried over 100 cases in her thirty plus years of practice. 

Attorney Steele received her bachelor’s degree in 1991 from Providence College and her juris doctorate from Villanova University School of Law in 1994. She was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1994, the Massachusetts bar in 1995 and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut in 1997. She is a current member and past president of the New London County Bar Association, as well as a current member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Attorney Steele currently sits on and is Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Recommendations for the Admission to the Bar for New London County, and she is a past member of the Local Grievance Panel for the Windham Judicial District. She has also been  appointed as an Attorney Trial Referee and Fact Finder/Arbitrator for the State of Connecticut.
